This page explains what happens to the information you send me. I am one person, not a company with a data department, so it is short and it is accurate.
What I collect
Only what you type into the contact form or send me directly: your names, your email address, a phone or WhatsApp number if you give one, where you are travelling from, and whatever you tell me about the wedding you are planning. Nothing else, and nothing you have not chosen to send.
What I do with it
I use it to reply to you, and if we end up working together, to plan your wedding. That is the whole purpose. I do not sell it, I do not publish it, and I do not add you to a mailing list you did not ask to join.
Who else sees it
Vendors only ever receive what they need to do their part: a guest count, a dietary note, a delivery address, an arrival time. They do not receive your full enquiry, and they do not receive your contact details unless you have asked me to introduce you.
The form and my email run on services I pay for, so those companies hold the message in the ordinary course of delivering it. They do not use it for anything of their own.
How long I keep it
If we work together, I keep the planning file for two years after the wedding, because couples come back with questions about vendors and I would rather be able to answer. If we do not end up working together, I keep the enquiry for a year in case you write again, and then I delete it.
Photographs
I never post photographs of your wedding without asking you first, and asking means a real conversation, not a line buried in a contract. If you would prefer I never share them at all, tell me and that is the end of it.
Asking me to change or delete it
Write to joebolanosevents@gmail.com and tell me what you want removed. You can ask me for a copy of what I hold, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete all of it. I will do it and confirm when it is done. You do not need to give a reason.
Changes to this page
If how I handle any of this changes, I will update this page and change the date below.
